Two years later....he has improved quite a bit, gotten an adult haircut and, wait for it......his suits fit. During this entire time he has sold a TON of Toyota's. He has also proven me wrong. I was sure there was now way he could be effective. To show you how wrong I was.....he sold us a 2012 Toyota Rav4. :)
I just saw a commercial today and it said "Mark Charles" instead of Escude. Any reason?
ReplyDeleteI have no idea. I checked some spots I DVR'd Thursday, and they all slated Mark as Escude. I'll keep an eye out for other spots.

I've seen the name changed as well. Charles is his middle name. He may be going to use that professionally.

DeleteYea, Mark does a great job....I'll admit a few years back we made a little fun of him, but be has proven to all of us that he has what it takes. Yes, the haircut and suits have gotten much better.

ReplyDeleteI am so tired of listening to his commercials. They must be played every hour. Thank God for the mute button. Everyone I know uses the mute button when he comes on and would never think of buying a car from any of his dealerships. Why can't he be a little more professional rather than yelling "What about this?" and "How About That", and "You Won't Believe This". It is beyond belief. Does he know how foolish he sounds? What a jerk!!

As I'm watching my show, the commercials came on, and the "F"-er played 3 commercials in a row, then a regular commercial aired, then the "F"-er played 3 MORE commercials in a row! Freakin seriously??? That's "F"n ridiculous!!! SHUT HIM UP!!!!!!!!!!!!

His father (Mark Escude) is the majority owner of all the "Of Greer" stores as well as Chevrolet and Kia stores in Easley. You can get a great deal if you are a customer. Just do not work for them if you have a family, and you want to send any time with your family.

ReplyDeleteI worked for his Dad years ago, and he was a slave driver. Had no compassion for employees' families. Looks like his boy is a chip off the old block. Really disappointed to read the comments about him. I thought Mark may have changed the way he managed people and the hours he required them to work.
